"More flags, more fun. Six Flags!"
―Mr. Six[src]

Mr. Six is a former mascot of Six Flags theme parks that was used from 2004 until 2010. He was primarily portrayed by dancer Danny Teeson he danced to the annoying Vengaboys song "We like to Party".

An old man with a knack for fun, Mr. Six is known to ride his bus around the world, putting on a show and inviting kids and families to the fun of Six Flags parks.

The character was massively popular, and is perhaps one of the most well-known in American advertising from the early to late 2000s, sparking many memes and parodies that live on to this day.

History

When Dan Synder took control of Six Flags and installed Mark Shapiro as CEO of the company on November 29, 2005, one of their first plans of action was to retire Mr. Six despite his massive popularity.[1]

In 2009, Mr. Six was briefly revived through 2010, but he was retired again. He has't been seen since because many people got annoyed by him and the song "We like to Party" by the Vengaboys.

In early 2018, it was officially revealed by Danny Teeson that he was in fact Mr. Six after years of speculation. Teeson had previously been under a non-disclosure agreement.[2]

Mr. Six's Pandemonium (now Pandemonium) was a spinning roller coaster at Six Flags New England. Manufactured by Gerstlauer and designed by Werner Stengel, it opened on April 16, 2005, and was conceived as a new roller coaster that families would be attracted to. For unknown reasons, the Mr. Six theming was removed in 2007, and the ride was renamed to simply "Pandemonium".
